Labels:text | screenshot | font OCR: The nesting grounds of the wander- ing tattler were a well-kept secret until 1923, when Olaus and Adolph Murie found Alaska's first reported tattler nest some distance above the mouth of Jenny Creek on the Savage River. Now, it is recognized that the tattler is a common nesting bird in the park and elsewhere in interior Alaska. It prefers river bars along generally small streams above treeline.
